GUARDIAN ANGELS

BASIC R.C. BELIEF

Although not an article of faith, the general idea is that everyone is

given a Guardian Angel as a child, and retains his services throughout

life. Some theologians limit this privilege to Catholics; many regard it as

universal. While they can interfere in physical needs and dangers, their

most common work is to guard the soul by parrying satanic thrusts and

giving good thoughts to replace temptation.
