Mother Stories from the New Testament

Mother Stories from the New Testament, according to the book's title, is "A Book of the Best Stories from the New Testament That Mothers Can Tell Their Children."  I have found that this little book is a true gem and have commissioned it to be typed and released to the Public Domain, so everyone may freely read, copy and re-distribute this book in whatever format they care to (electronic, printed, etc). The Bible stories can be read by any age, children or adults, to help strengthen your christian walk.

CHRIST BLESSING THE CHILDREN

May this book bless all people of all ages (not just Mothers reading it to their children, as originally intended by the author). I have found that people of any age will likely be blessed by these fine Bible stories written in easy to understand, concise chapters. These Bible stories are perfect for use in Sunday Schools, Bible study groups, personal Bible study (any age), and of course for reading to children at bedtime (or any other time).

The book I used as a source document was an original 1908 edition, published in the United States in Philadelphia, PA by the Henry Altemus Company. The original copyright was in 1908 by Howard E. Altemus, which has long ago since expired, and now the text of the book has fallen into the Public Domain in the United States and may be freely used.

The Bible translation the author appears to have used is the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV). I might edit the chapters to use the King James Version (KJV) Bible text in the future, but as it now stands the book text is the original unedited author's text. The latest version of this book may be found at FREE.CX on the Internet.

I encourage publishers of all kinds (electronic and printed) to re-publish this public domain Christian book in whole or in part to bless others with the wonderful gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. I pray this book will last for many generations to come and will help children and adults alike to be raised up in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
