Roman Catholics strongly deny that Mary had other children besides Jesus.

They use Ezekiel 44:2 to "prove" this.

CHRISTIAN COMMENT

The names of Jesus' brothers are given in Matthew 13:55-56. Roman Catholics

claim this means kinsmen or cousins. The word cousin is used in Luke 1:36.

Messianic Psalms 69:8 says, "I am become an alien to my mother's

children." John 7:5 fulfills this prophecy.

There is no reason why Mary would dishonor her marriage vows to Joseph,

or to believe that having children is sinful. Her supposed perpetual

virginity appeals to those pushing the idea of celibacy.
