our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side,

without were fightings, within were fears."

God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts"

A. Ro. 8:4, Jesus died "That the righteousness of the law might

be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after

the Spirit."

B. Ro. 13:14, "But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not

provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof"

C. Gal. 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live;

yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now

live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who

loved me, and gave himself for me."

D. TEXT (2 Cor. 10:3), "For though we walk in the flesh, we do

not war after the flesh"

III. THE WORD (JESUS) WAS MADE FLESH (Jn. 1:14) "and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of

the Father,) full of grace and truth"

A. Ro. 8:3, "God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh

and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh"
