SATAN

GEN 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the

LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not

eat of every tree of the garden?

GEN 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

GEN 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall

be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

GEN 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this,

thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy

belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

GEN 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed

and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

1SA 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit

from the LORD troubled him.

2SA 23:6 But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away,

because they cannot be taken with hands:

2SA 23:7 But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the

staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place.

1KI 22:22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth,

and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou

shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

1CH 21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number

Israel.

JOB 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves

before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

JOB 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered

the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and

down in it.

JOB 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

JOB 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about

all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his

substance is increased in the land.

JOB 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will

curse thee to thy face.

JOB 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy

power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the

presence of the LORD.

JOB 2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that

there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that

feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity,

although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

JOB 2:4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a

man hath will he give for his life.

JOB 2:5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he

will curse thee to thy face.

JOB 2:6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his

life.

JOB 2:7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with

sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

JOB 9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces

of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

PSA 109:6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right

hand.

ZEC 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of

the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

ZEC 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the

LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of

the fire?

MAT 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted

of the devil.

MAT 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an

hungred.

MAT 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God,

command that these stones be made bread.

MAT 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread

alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

MAT 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a

pinnacle of the temple,

MAT 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for

it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their

hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a

stone.

MAT 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord

thy God.

MAT 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and

sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

MAT 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt

fall down and worship me.

MAT 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,

Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

MAT 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered

unto him.

MAT 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast

out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

MAT 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his

goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

MAT 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry

places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

MAT 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it

not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his

heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

MAT 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest

I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in

bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

MAT 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the

kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

MAT 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the

world; and the reapers are the angels.

MAT 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I

will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

MAT 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye

cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

MAR 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath

Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

MAR 3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can

Satan cast out Satan?

MAR 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

MAR 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

MAR 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand,

but hath an end.

LUK 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat

nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

LUK 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the

glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give

it.

LUK 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

LUK 11:15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the

chief of the devils.

LUK 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

LUK 11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he

taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

LUK 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan

hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath

day?

LUK 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have

you, that he may sift you as wheat:

LUK 22:53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands

against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

JOH 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye

have seen with your father.

JOH 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born

of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

JOH 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will

do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because

there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he

is a liar, and the father of it.

JOH 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world

be cast out.

JOH 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of

Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

JOH 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him,

That thou doest, do quickly.

JOH 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world

cometh, and hath nothing in me.

JOH 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

ACT 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to

the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

ACT 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the

devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right

ways of the Lord?

ACT 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from

the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and

inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

ROM 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The

grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

1CO 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time,

that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that

Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

2CO 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of

his devices.

2CO 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which

believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image

of God, should shine unto them.

2CO 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that

believeth with an infidel?

2CO 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his

subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in

Christ.

2CO 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of

light.

2CO 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed

as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2CO 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of

the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of

Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

EPH 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in

the children of disobedience:

EPH 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

EPH 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against

the wiles of the devil.

EPH 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against

principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this

world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

EPH 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able

to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

EPH 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having

on the breastplate of righteousness;

EPH 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

EPH 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to

quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

COL 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated

us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

COL 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them

openly, triumphing over them in it.

1TH 2:18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again;

but Satan hindered us.

1TH 3:5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your

faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in

vain.

2TH 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and

signs and lying wonders,

1TI 1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan,

that they may learn not to blaspheme.

1TI 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the

condemnation of the devil.

1TI 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he

fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

1TI 5:15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

2TI 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,

who are taken captive by him at his will.

HEB 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he

also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy

him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

JAM 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee

from you.

1PE 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring

lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1PE 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions

are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

2PE 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to

hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

1JO 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the

beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one.

I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

1JO 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the

beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy

the works of the devil.

1JO 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the

devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth

not his brother.

1JO 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And

wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's

righteous.

1JO 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is

begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

JUD 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own

habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the

judgment of the great day.

JUD 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed

about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but

said, The Lord rebuke thee.

REV 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and

I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the

synagogue of Satan.

REV 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil

shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have

tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown

of life.

REV 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:

and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days

wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan

dwelleth.

REV 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not

this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I

will put upon you none other burden.

REV 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are

Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship

before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

REV 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless

pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath

his name Apollyon.

REV 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red

dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

REV 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil,

and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and

his angels were cast out with him.

REV 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and

strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the

accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and

night.

REV 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of

their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

REV 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the

inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you,

having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

REV 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the

bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

REV 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil,

and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

REV 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal

upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years

should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

REV 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto

them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,

and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his

image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;

and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

REV 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were

finished. This is the first resurrection.

REV 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on

such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of

Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

REV 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of

his prison,

REV 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters

of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of

whom is as the sand of the sea.

REV 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp

of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of

heaven, and devoured them.

REV 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and

brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day

and night for ever and ever.
