ATONEMENT
GEN 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat
thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
GEN 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest,
and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering
upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
EXO 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall
take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
EXO 12:11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your
feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the
LORD'S passover.
EXO 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a
feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an
ordinance for ever.
EXO 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said,
Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning
all these words.
LEV 16:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to
cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
LEV 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an
atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did
as the LORD commanded Moses.
LEV 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you
upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that
maketh an atonement for the soul.
PSA 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou
opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
ISA 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did
esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
ISA 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed.

ISA 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when
thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall
prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
ISA 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their
iniquities.
ISA 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall
divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto
death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
ZEC 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

justification.
ROM 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:
ROM 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly.
ROM 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a
good man some would even dare to die.
ROM 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
ROM 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through him.
ROM 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death
of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
ROM 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received the atonement.
ROM 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the
offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace,
which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
ROM 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment
was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto
justification.
ROM 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which
receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life
by one, Jesus Christ.)
ROM 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all
men unto justification of life.
ROM 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
ROM 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin
abounded, grace did much more abound:
ROM 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
1CO 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and
unto the Greeks foolishness;
1CO 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom,
which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1CO 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye
are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1CO 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
2CO 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus
Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2CO 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of
reconciliation.
GAL 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this
present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
GAL 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
GAL 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made
of a woman, made under the law,
GAL 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the
adoption of sons.

EPH 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on
earth; even in him:
EPH 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated
according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his
own will:
EPH 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in
Christ.
EPH 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
EPH 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know
what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his
inheritance in the saints,
EPH 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who
believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
EPH 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and
every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to
come:

over all things to the church,
EPH 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved
us,
EPH 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,
(by grace ye are saved;)
EPH 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus:
EPH 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his
grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
EPH 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God:
EPH 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
EPH 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
EPH 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by
the blood of Christ.
EPH 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments
contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making
peace;
EPH 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself
for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
COL 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
COL 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in

HEB 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment:
HEB 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them
that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
HEB 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very
image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by
year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
HEB 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should
take away sins.
HEB 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
HEB 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body
of Jesus Christ once for all.

from whence also he received him in a figure.
